Are short hairstyles and sedu compatible?

For those of you who don’t know, a sedu is a ceramic straightening iron that produces really sleek and good looking straight hair. Jennifer Aniston and J Lo have both been seen sporting sedu styles recently and that has (obviously!!) really sparked interest in them. The question I have just been asked is how suitable is sort hair for the sedu treatment. And the answer is simple - you can use the sedu on any length of hair. A better question is - is my hair/face shape suitable for the sedu treatment?.

The Answer
If your hair is over processed then you will really want to avoid using any sort of straightening iron as this will only distress the tresses further.
As for face shape the type’s that should probably avoid straight hair are the Oval face shape especially if the straight hair extends past the jawbone as this can make your face appear longer and thinner and the Rectangular Face Shape - Straight hair can make your face appear longer and more severe.

Of course there are exceptions to each and every rule. With most things hair related the best thing you can do is find a stylist you really trust and put your faith in their experience and judgement.
